The city of Berlin See
the worlds animals while you are there and relex: Berlin has even two
zoos! The Zoological Garden is Germany's oldest zoo and awaits your visit with
its 15,000 animals. Nocturnal animal house, aquarium – an impressive array of
animals! The Tierpark Friedrichsfelde is laid out like a large landscaped garden
embedded in the former Castle Park. You will find the zoo school nearby the palace.
Animals and plants from all over the world can be visited. The
Müggelsee is the greatest lake in Berlin and lies at the end of a big recreation
area, that ranges from Treptower Park over Plänterwald till the Müggelberge. The
area is perfect for walks, bicycle-trips or bathing. Starting
at the S-Bahnhof Grunewald, the Grunewald with its numerous lakes extends to the
outskirts. This forest lies nearby the inner city and is frequented by many Berlin
citizens for jogging or for taking their dogs for a walk. See
