area of Chania is a special place where amazing natural beauties is unspoiled

Being build on the sea a combination of picturesque and old is fused with modern
architecture. Not to miss when visiting the town of Chania are the archaeological
and naval museums, the old town and the national gardens. Whilst
in the area why not visit Akrotiri, which is only 15 km from the town of Chania.
From there you can enjoy a spectacular sunset as well as a panoramic view of the
town. The ancient town Aptera and the traditional villages Vamos, Gavalohori and
