of its unique location surrounded by water and countryside, with parks and gardens
everywhere, it has super-fresh air and a delightfully pure atmosphere. This 'Northern
Venice' has boatloads of historic sights, more than 70 museums, and a good selection
of pricey cafe/restaurants. Everything is in easy walking distance, everybody
speaks perfect English, and the summer's midnight sun makes Stockholm a great
destination for short break.
